The ministry of SOUND DOCTRINE was inaugurated and dedicated to the work of the Lord in September, 1996 in Madison, Wisconsin, U.S.A. Its mission is expressed in the Great Commission "make disciples teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20) and Titus 1:9 "hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, encourage others with sound doctrine, refute those who oppose it."
The ministry goal of SOUND DOCTRINE is to disseminate Bible teaching via cassette tapes to allow in-depth, self-directed courses of study to individuals at home and abroad. Since 1996, at 6-week intervals subscribers have been entitled to receive a packet of four audio teaching tapes on Scripture without charge or obligation.
Availability of these tapes is made possible through the prayers and charitable donations of individuals; SOUND DOCTRINE is not underwritten by any foundation nor is it dependent on any institution for its existence. Those interested in receiving teaching tapes from Sound Doctrine should make a written request to be placed on a confidential mailing list.
SOUND DOCTRINE is disseminated throughout several countries on three continents. SOUND DOCTRINE's teaching is heard on radio and used in religious educational institutions in Africa and Asia.
